Stelios Kerasidis, a 9 year old Greek musical child prodigy recently made the list of the ‘World’s Top 100 Prodigies’, and has been chosen for the music category of the prestigious Global Child Prodigy Awards 2022. She told him he was too young, but it was only a year later that he began taking lessons and discovered his natural talent. He fell in love at age 4 listening to his sister at a music recital and asked his mother if he could play. ![]() Of course, being one of the most talented piano players at his age helps a lot. He loves the piano and wants to grow up to be a concert pianist. However, for 9-year-old Malvyn Lai, things are a little different. In most cases keeping a child interested in an instrument can be a struggle. He said he plans on continuing to learn new songs and perfect songs by his favorite musicians Joel and Elton John.It isn’t rare for parents to make their child take piano lessons when they’re young, and it also isn’t out-of-this-world for a kid to ask their parents if they can take lessons. Ben recently played the national anthem at a Utica Blue Sox baseball game. “Ben is incredibly talented, but he’s really a product of hard work. It’s early to know where he’s going to go, but he’s working really hard and we’re really proud of him,” said Ben's father, JP Kidwell.Īnd with that support, Ben can still be a kid for now.
